If this is your first time logging onto our website, WELCOME! We are happy you have come to
learn about us.

We are a group of people who want to make the world a better place by putting “Service above
Self”. It is our hope to engage more members of our community, expand our reach, inspire
people to do good, and enjoy every step along the way.

Our club recently started gathering at fun venues in our community two afternoons a month for
happy hour meetings. We meet at Buck’s of Woodside and Alpine Inn (Zott’s) on the second
and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 4:00-5:00. We continue to meet at the Woodside
Independence Hall on the first and third weeks of the month. There are occasional changes in
schedule, so please check the calendar on our website to be sure.
This month our club is putting a lot of energy into preparing for the TASTE OF WOODSIDE, our
big annual fundraising gala on Sunday, September 10. This is the 19 th birthday of the Taste of
Woodside. Over the years, we have refined this lovely event, which takes place at the beautiful
Woodside Village Church. Friends and members donate precious items for an eye-catching
silent auction, which our guests enjoy while sipping wines and nibbling on appetizers donated
by local wineries and restaurants. Our chef friend, Chantal, then serves a mouth-watering four
course dinner that we enjoy under the shade of spreading oak trees and twinkling stars. As we
dine, we listen to inspiring presentations about our Rotary Club’s projects near and far, as far
away as Nepal and Nicaragua. We then ready our bid cards and get ready for the live auction,
which gets everyone’s attention with prizes that include cases of fine wine, exotic travel, e-
bikes, and fine art.
