Welcome to the Rotary Club of Woodside/Portola Valley. I am honored to have been chosen to serve as President of this “Small but Mighty” club for the year 2023-24. This club lives up to the Rotary moto of "Service above Self", with members who give of their time, talent, and resources to make the world a better place. In our own communities and internationally, our club focuses on making education available to as many people as possible and to nurturing our natural environment. 

 

I have been in the field of horticulture and urban forestry for much of my career. I am dedicated to improving the environment, the air we breathe and the habitats we create and conserve. I am also dedicated to educating young and old to provide greater opportunities in life and to enrich our world.
